BMW TwinPower Turbo Longlife-04 5w-30 is motor oil, developed using the latest Gas to Liquid technology. A synthesis procedure on natural gas molecules removes the complex hydrocarbon chains from the raw material, thus ensuring that the base oil is free from foreign substances.
In order to improve performance, the product is force-fed with additives. The components of the ZDDP group contain active zinc and phosphorus, which protect rubbing parts from accelerated wear and scuffing. Calcium-containing detergent base neutralizes sulphuric acid and cleans sludge deposits inside the crankcase and exhaust manifold.
Depressurizing agents help to retain the necessary fluidity at critical freezing temperatures. The synergistic effect of the contained components is to keep the engine running steadily under any operating conditions.

BMW TwinPower Turbo Longlife-04 5w-30 is intended to be used in the diesel power units of the brand-name engine produced after 2004. It is 100% compatible with catalytic converters, latest generation diesel particulate filters, and exhaust gas recirculation devices. The lubricant is suitable for all engine operating modes, including dirt, start-stop, and racing.
The manufacturer insists that the fluid must not be used when servicing petrol engines outside the European Union. This is due to the poor quality of fuel at local petrol stations.
